Extensive scientific research in such spheres as Studies and analysis of modern trends and processes in developing the Russian system of accounting, audit and analysis as well as financial control is carried out by both the members of the chair and students.
The tutorial system comprises the following courses: “Basic accounting”, “Financial accounting”, “Managerial accounting”, “Financial statements”, “International financial reporting standards”, “Audit”, “Basic economic analysis”, “Comprehensive economic performance analysis”.
The chair provides intensive and rigorous education. Its graduates are skilled in professional and cross-cultural communication. They have profound economic, financial and specialized knowledge.
Within the academic period students have practical training and internship where they have an opportunity to solidify their knowledge and acquire practical skills in their majors, get familiar with the home and international experience in the sphere of accounting, analysis and audit in various entities.
The tutorial system also presupposes learning to apply the methods of accounting, analysis and audit while specializing in the accounting, analysis and audit of foreign economic activity, public and banking sectors, insurance industry. Besides, students get the basics of economic statistics, international accounting and audit standards as well as VFM audit.
Our graduates having solid economic background and a good command of several foreign languages can try their prentice hand in different spheres of the Russian economy.
