   The mission of the Department of Management and Marketing is to undertake academically rigorous teaching of students with two and more foreign language skills in the sphere of marketing and management.

Qualification (degree) – Bachelor
Duration – 4 years (day-time department)

The Bachelor-graduates have an opportunity to continue their education in the Masters in Management programme (080200) with the profile of International Project Management inclusively.
The Chair’s staff can be characterized as the highest quality of academic professionals with a profound scientific background and extensive teaching experience: PhDs, professors, associate professors. As the Chair is constantly seeking to raise the standards of teaching performance and professionalism; it cooperates actively with such distinguished higher education institutions as The Higher School of Economics, Military University, The State University of Management, Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics, etc.

The subject area includes the following disciplines for specialization of Management with the profile of International Management: “Institutional Economics”, “IT in Management”, “Systems Theory and System Analysis”, “Mathematical Modelling in Management”, “Human Resources Management”, “Organisation and Strategic Management in International Companies”, “Integrated Corporate Structures in International Business”, “Financial Markets and Institutions”, “Financial Management”, “International Business Environment”, “Enterprise Economy”, ‘Foreign Trade Financing”, etc.

Currently The Chair maintains the 5-year teaching of students with specialization in Organizational Management (080507 – day-time department) and qualification of “Manager” (the last enrollment was performed in 2009), as long as students with specialization in Marketing (day-time department) and qualification of “Marketing Specialist” (the last enrollment was performed in 2008).

Our students annually undertake an internship in the prominent Russian and international companies (OJSC Promsvyazbank, OJSC Rosoboronexport, International Department Ministry of Transport RF) where they have an opportunity to develop their practical skills and enrich their knowledge in the selected field.

The Chair also manages the students’ scientific society “Management and Innovations”.
Our students are provided with opportunities to undergo Students Internship Programme in foreign higher education institutions and companies.

The Chair’s graduates can continue their postgraduate education in MSLU studying for the specialization “Economics and Management of the National Economy” (08.00.05).
We believe that fundamental professional education and foreign language skills distinguish our graduates on the job market and make them highly competitive for vacant posts in the leading Russian and international companies such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Tupperware, Russia Today and many others.

The Department of Management and Marketing (MSLU) offers Master programme “Enterprise Economics” with the profile of Economics (080100)
Qualification (degree) – Master of Economics
Duration – 2 years (day-time department)

The programme is designed to prepare high-profile specialists able to create a company’s strategy along with a company’s marketing behavior. The programme includes developing students’ skills of evaluating internal resources of the company, elaborating alternative strategies of a company’s development and mechanisms of their realization, determining investment perspectives, developing and launching new products and services.

Preparation of Master-students with the profile of Economics will allow them in future to handle professional issues in the sphere of a company’s management, creation of a company’s international strategy, international market analysis, etc.

The subject area includes the following disciplines:
• Corporate Expertise Management
• Business Planning
• Strategic Management
• Anticrisis Management
• Company Valuation

The level of proficiency acquired by the graduates of Master programme gives them an opportunity to deal successfully with the following professional issues:
• to manage enterprises, departments, projects and networks;
• to elaborate a company’s international strategy;
• to perform analysis of international markets and international strategy of a company in order to manage business processes and assess their efficiency.

The programme comprises Business English Communication course with a total amount of academic hours – 600. The course involves all modern language teaching methods such as business role games, cases, workshops, etc. In addition to the academic content, the course will provide graduates with competitive advantage of gaining a range of competences essential for success in the sphere of organisation and management of an enterprise.

The Master programme “Enterprise Economics” is:
