Since 2011/2012 alongside with training of specialists, the Department of Information Technologies will be implementing the educational baccalaureate programme for qualification 090900 “Information Security””, the profile “Organization and Technology of Information Security”.

In the course of their studies students acquire skills that permit them to work with universal instruments of computer technologies at a professional level.

-Steganographic Methods of Information Security;
-Security of Information Processes in Computer systems;
-Information Security Maintenance in Computer Networks;

-Economics of Information Security;
-Company Information Security Management;
-Humanitarian Aspects of Information Security;
-Information Security Systems in advanced foreign countries.

Teaching is conducted by the Chair of Information Technologies which comprises highly qualified professors, who have many years of experience in this field: doctors and candidates, professors and assistant professors which form the 100% of the staff of the chair.

Professors of the Chair use interactive computer educational programmes, electronic courses of lectures with the use of multimedia and other technical means for teaching. Classes are conducted in computer halls, equipped with the most advanced technical, programme, multimedia and other modern educational technologies.

At present, our graduates, who specialize in the field of information computer technologies and information security, are highly in demand on the job market!
