The Centre of Turkish Language and Culture was established in 2007 at the MSLU's Translation and Interpreting Faculty in order to promote the teaching and learning of the Turkish language, literature, history and culture.
The Centre is equipped with computers, copiers, audio and video devices and other technology to be used in FL learning and instruction.
Students of Turkish can use the Centre's library and the expertise of its staff in their studies and research. The Centre hosts discussions of research papers, translations of Turkish literature and other relevant materials.
Other activities conducted by the Centre include seminars, workshops and meetings with Russian and foreign turkologists, authors, politicians and public figures.
