Programme Description
Professional retraining programme for MSLU students and graduates in relevant areas of other universities.
Key Courses
1. Simultaneous interpretation from English into Russian (full-time classes including distant classes with the UN simultaneous interpreters in New York);
2. Simultaneous interpretation from Spanish/French into Russian (full-time classes including distant classes with the UN simultaneous interpreters in New York);
3. Russian language and culture of speech;
4. Written translation from English into Russian;
5. Written translation from Spanish/French into Russian;
6. Special courses.
Materials
Students will work with reports of the meetings of the UN General Assembly, their subsidiary bodies, their commissions and committees.
Duration
37 weeks (from September to June), 28 academic hours per week (total 1036 academic hours).
