MSLU on Experience of International Cooperation

On October 25, 2023, Council of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Moscow and the Moscow Region had a meeting of the Сommission on international activities.

Pavel Shevtsov, deputy head of Rossotrudnichestvo, summed up the results of the admissions campaign for the 2023/2024 academic year and noted that most of the students within the quota this year came from Asia, Africa and the CIS countries, while there are still students from Europe and America.

The participants shared their experience in developing international activities at the present stage and discussed priority areas for attracting the best students and scholars, the experience of inter-university collaborations among Russian universities to promote education abroad, and the experience of creating and operating foreign branches.

This day, our university was accepted into the International Activities Commission of the Council of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Moscow and the Moscow Region. MSLU Rector Irina Kraeva presented MSLU as a new member of the Commission. Irina Shokina, head of MSLU Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization, shared the experience of cooperation with Cuban universities and emphasized that the Cuban side’s interest in the field of information sciences in Russia is very high.
