MSLU has held its Fifth International scientific conference “Authentic Dialogue between Russia and the Francophone World in Culture, Language and Literature”

On April 21-23, MSLU held its Fifth International scientific and practical conference "Authentic Dialogue between Russia and the Francophone World in Culture, Language and Literature".

The conference was attended by over 140 participants: representatives of MSLU and leading Russian and foreign universities, foreign speakers from France, Belgium, Austria, Morocco, Benin, Belarus, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

Welcoming remarks at the opening of the conference were made by Ms. Olga Iriskhanova, MSLU’s Vice-Rector for Science. The guests and participants were welcomed by Mr. Eduard Bizimana, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Burundi in the Russian Federation, Mr. Thierry Chan Mu Lun, Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Mauritius and Mrs. Senabou Gaye, Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Senegal. The attendees were also greeted in his video address by Mr. Dmitry G. Korepanov, Deputy Director of the Department of Africa at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
