First Vice-rector of the University of Havana Visits MSLU

On September 25, the first vice-rector of the University of Havana (Republic of Cuba), Marian Hernandez Colina, visited MSLU.

MSLU was represented by Rector Irina Kraeva, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Vladimir Storozhev, Vice-Rector for Development and Digitalization Sergey Pilipenko, Head of Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization Irina Shokina and Head of Department of Spanish Language and Translation Anna AlvarezSoler.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in various areas, in particular, the issues of developing joint activities in the field of scientific and project activities and advanced training programs within the framework of cooperation between universities, the development of student and teacher mobility programs within the framework of signed agreements with the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Faculty of Tourism, as well as issues of organizing educational practice for students in areas of cooperation. In addition, the parties discussed possible cooperation in the field of teaching Russian as a foreign language and sign language at the University of Havana.

After the meeting, Mrs. Marian Hernandez Colina had a tour of the Moscow State Linguistic University academic building.
