MSLU Co-Founds Global Alliance of Foreign Studies Universities (GAFSU)

On May 19th, Moscow State Linguistic University became one of the founding members of the Global Alliance of Foreign Studies Universities (GAFSU), the first association of the kind. 

The Letter of Agreement launching the Alliance was signed in Beijing Foreign Studies University at the GAFSU Forum and the Forum on Regional Studies and Global Governance.

Moscow State Linguistic University was one of the initiators of the Alliance, therefore it is not by chance that the MSLU’s Acting Rector Irina A. Krayeva was given the honour to make welcoming remarks at the opening session of the Forum and deliver a keynote speech at the plenary session. Innara A. Guseynova, the MSLU Vice President for Academic Affairs, also spoke during the plenary session.

The Global Alliance of Foreign Studies Universities will be a platform for international exchange and partnership in the field of research and education, and a closer cooperation between linguistic universities of different countries.
