Prospects for Turkmen Language Studies Discussed at MSLU

On March 6, 2026, Moscow State Linguistic University hosted a meeting between MSLU Rector Irina Kraeva and representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation — Counsellor Serdar Durdyev and Press Attaché Gulyalek Chapanova. 

The parties discussed humanitarian cooperation and the development of academic programmes. MSLU, where 40 foreign languages are currently taught, is considering the launch of Turkmen language training as part of its degree programmes in the future.
