MSLU Hosts Workshop "Jurisprudence: Challenges of the Future"

On January 31, MSLU hosted a workshop "Jurisprudence: Challenges of the Future" aimed at creating conditions for effective professional development of future specialists. The workshop was held under the auspices of the Moscow Lawyers Union.  

The workshop was opened by Dr. Sergey Yuryev, Chair of the Moscow Lawyers Union. Topics on the agenda included protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations, legal means of protecting national interests, development of the legal services market, and the role of law students in raising legal awareness. 

The country's leading lawyers from major legal organizations, top Moscow universities, and international law firms presented results of their research based on professional practice and fundamental knowledge of legislative process. It was a good opportunity for law students to meet representatives of government agencies and professional organizations, and thus to better understand and assess their own professional prospects.
