MSLU Alumni Event in Vietnam

The event was attended by Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, former Deputy Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Vũ Xuân Hồng, former Chairman of the Vietnam Friendship Society, Head of the MSLU Vietnamese Alumni Association, and Trịnh Quốc Khánh, Major General, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Society.

The Russian delegation, headed by MSLU Rector Irina A. Kraeva, included Konstantin Vnukov, Russian Ambassador to Vietnam, Natalia Shafinskaya, Acting Director of the Russian Center of Science and Culture (RCSC) in Hanoi, and MSLU officials.

On behalf of MSLU alumni, Mr. Vũ Xuân Hồng expressed deep gratitude to MSLU professors who have taught several generations of Veitnamese students, many holding high positions in Vietnam’s political and state institutions. He expressed hope that MSLU will continue to provide excellent education for Vietnamese students who are currently studying there.

Irina A. Kraeva was awarded a medal "For Peace and Friendship" between Russia and Vietnam, the highest award of the Vietnam Friendship Society.
