MSLU Up In Interfax National University Ranking

MSLU has climbed in the Tenth Annual National University Ranking for the 2018/2019 academic year presented by the Interfax Information Services Group. The University has improved its overall score by 10 points.

This year the ranking evaluates performance of more than 300 of Russia’s leading higher education institutions in six traditional areas: brand power, teaching, research, social environment, internationalization, and innovation activities. MSLU has improved its positions in brand visibility and made top 30 in internalization.

Its internationalization was evaluated using the following five indicators: the number of international students, international cooperation, global communications, international research collaboration and the number of educational programmes in foreign languages.

In 2019, the number of MSLU partners has expanded to 131 universities from 35 countries. It has signed 22 new agreements on cooperation, 315 of its students have done traineeships in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Another 20 students gained experience abroad within the EU’s Erasmus+study exchange programme. MSLU continues to reaffirm the status of the national hub in linguistic education by holding international academic/ research conferences, conducting language contests (Olympiads), organizing international exams and trips for leading academics and professors to share experience as part of academic partnership with other universities worldwide.
