MSLU signs agreement with Argentinian TV company

On March 3rd, 2021 MSLU signed a cooperation Agreement with the Argentinian TV company “Asia TV”. In her welcoming speech rector of MSLU Irina Kraeva shared her ideas on the major directions of cooperation with the Argentinian partners, one of which can potentially be participation of professors in programs, dealing with relevant problems of international relations, and also about novelties in education, culture, art and science.

Rector noted that the Institute of International Relations and Social and Political Sciences and the Institute of Humanities and Applied Sciences have experienced professors, ready to share their knowledge with Argentinian viewers. In her turn General Director of “Asia TV” Ivone Alves expressed her willingness to provide assistance in MSLU’s search for new partners among Argentinian universities and in mass media.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy of the South American Parliament Pablo Viles, Rector of the Latin American Pedagogical Institute Mario Morant, professors of other higher educational institutions of Argentina, Deputy Director of the Latin American Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry D. V. Belov, Director of American Programs of the “Russkiy Mir” Foundation N. N. Mikhailov, as well as Dean of the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation E.A. Pokholkova, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization I.M.Shokina and Director of the Center for Ibero-American Programs, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of International Relations in the Institute of International Relations and Social and Political Sciences Y. A. Burlyai. All those present unanimously noted that the signed agreement will contribute to the further expansion of mutually beneficial ties between Russia and Argentina.
