Programme Overview

The MA in Linguistics & the Digital Media, launched in 2019, is a unique programme that aims to give students a thorough grounding in modern theoretical linguistics as well as practical skills to meet the demands of the digital economy. The digital revolution has transformed communication practices, organizational forms and management structures. Digital media opens up a lot of professional and research opportunities for linguists within the framework of Digital Humanities, the newest field of humanitarian knowledge designed to explore all aspects of human society, art and culture, language and history, thinking and communication processes in order to make sense of social evolution.
