The main goals of the Erasmus + programme are to improve the quality of education in Europe, to develop mobility and cultural ties between students from European and the EU neighboring countries.
Erasmus+ provides a framework for cooperation between universities and guarantees to participants that the time spent abroad will be credited by the university upon their return home (subject to programme conditions).
The European Commission defines the following objectives of the programme
• To develop students, faculty and staff of universities educationally, linguistically and culturally, by studying in other European countries;
• To expand cooperation between institutions and enrich the educational environment of host institutions;To contribute to moulding of young people as highly qualified and open-minded future professionals with international experience.
