Translation of Russian literature into Turkish

On November 16, within the framework of the "Translation Environment" project, an international seminar was held on the topic "The History of Translations of Russian Literature into Turkish".

Ilsiyar Rameeva, Ph.D. in Philology, lecturer at the Department of Russian Language and Literature at the Yeditepe University (Istanbul, Turkey), the author of the book “The Image of Turkey in Russian Literature of the 19th Century”, spoke at the seminar. She spoke about how the history of translating Russian literature into Turkish began.

The seminar was the second in a series of events organized jointly with Yeditepe University with the support of the Center for Turkish Language and Culture of the Department of Oriental Languages ​​of Moscow State Linguistic University, as well as the Laboratory for Comparative Literature and Art Anthropology.
