Cooperation with Cuba Expands

Moscow State Linguistic University continues cooperation with the universities of the Republic of Cuba. Thus, a lecturer from the University of Information Sciences in Havana, Cuba (la Universidad de Ciencias Informaticas de la Habana (UCI)) Professor Henri Raul Gonzalez Brito came to our university on a return visit. The main goal of the visit program is to present a course on the discipline "Ensuring cybersecurity of WEB applications (pentesting)", as well as to discuss further cooperation at the master's level.

The first lectures were held in the Laboratory of Networks and Information Transmission Systems of the Institute of Information Sciences. The questions raised in the first lectures concerned the basics of the functioning of WEB applications, encryption and ethical hacking. Professor González Brito's lectures aroused genuine interest among the master's students of the Institute of Information Sciences.

We proudly state that the translators - students of the Faculty of Translation - showed a high quality level of their training in such a difficult form of special translation.

During the visit, Henry met with a longtime partner and lecturer of our university, the famous "Cyberfather" Andrey Masalovich, head of the Avalanche company. At the meeting, a number of possible vectors of cooperation between the company, MSLU and UCI were identified. We look forward to new events, lectures, meetings, emotions and discussions!
