MSLU at International Economic Forum of the CIS Member States

Yan Burlyai, Director of the Center for Ibero-American Programs of MSLU, Professor, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary took part in the International Economic Forum of the CIS Member States which was held in Moscow on March 28-29, 2024. The motto of the event was From dialogue to joint projects in the CIS, EAEU, SCO.

At the session Mission of development institutions on the agenda of the CIS, EAEU, SCO the participants discussed global trends related to sustainable development.

The International Economic Forum of the CIS Member States is held in accordance with the Decision of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS dated December 18, 2020, paragraph 4.37 of the Plan of Main Actions for the Implementation of the Concept for the Further Development of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The forum was organized in 2009, and annually confirms its status as a discussion platform aimed at discussing key issues of interaction between business and government, taking into account current trends in the development of the global and regional economy.
