Strengthening Russian-Turkish Cooperation in Education

On July 9, 2020, the First online conference of the Committee on Education and Science of the Russian-Turkish Public Forum was held. It was devoted to the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Turkey. MSLU was represented by  Irina Shokina, head of International cooperation department, and Ekaterina Pokholkova, dean of Interpreting and Translation Faculty.
 
The Russian-Turkish Public Forum was created as part of the top-level cooperation council. The Russian part of the Council is headed by the President of Russia, the Turkish - by the President of Turkey. The Council is called upon to coordinate the implementation of political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian projects.
