On July 9, 2020, the First online conference of the Committee on Education and Science of the Russian-Turkish Public Forum was held. It was devoted to the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Turkey.

Double Degree Programme with the University of Pisa
MSLU and the University of Pisa (Italy) have concluded a Cooperation Agreement on Establishment and Implementation  of a Joint Educational double degree programme  in “Linguistics”.

Ehwa Womans University Congrats MSLU on the 90th Anniversary
Kim Heisook, President of our partner university, Republic of Korea, extended his warmest congratulations and conveyed his best wishes on the 90th anniversary of Moscow State Linguistic University. The Memorandum of Understanding with the Ehwa Womans University was signed in November 2019.

University of Cologne: New Partner in Germany
Moscow State Linguistic University and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Cologne (Federal Republic of Germany) have concluded the Accord on Cooperation.

Celebrating the Russian Language Day at MSLU
Russian Language Day introduced by the UN is celebrated on 6 June, the date traditionally observed as the birthday of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.

First place at the Translation Competition named after St. Jerome is ours!
Marina Slobodyanik, a student at the UN Training Program for International Organizations and Competitive Language Exams, became the winner of the 15th Translation Competition named after St. Jerome with a Russian translation of the text titled “Tina Turner is having the time of her life”. ⠀

Interpreters of the UN Office in Geneva conduct remote interpretation classes with students attending the preparatory program for the UN competitive language exams at MSLU.

UN-MSLU Cooperation: Speech Techniques
The main program for preparing for UN competitive language exams at MSLU includes various special courses, including “Speech Technique”, which is taught by Sofya Vysokovskaya, teacher of the stage speech department of the Theater Institute named after Boris Schtscukin.

Interpreters of the UN Office in Geneva conduct remote interpretation classes with students of the UN Preparatory Language Exams Preparation Program at Moscow State Linguistic University Victoria Tuchina (3rd year of the Faculty of Translation), Vladislav Zhuravlev (1st year of the Master's degree in Translation Department), Marina Slobodyanik (external student of the Program) ) and Alexander Morozov (4th year of the Faculty of Translation).

Shvedchenko, M.Fedorina, P.Libina and Maya Pramatarova, Bulgarian language professor at Moscow State Linguistic University, expert art critic at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Moscow, created captions for the documentary by the screenwriter and director Miglena Stoycheva, “Portrait of the Diva,” released April 9.
